Cabin Clubhouse
1. TL;DR
-To date our offerings have most often required people to relocate (co-living, cabin weeks)
-Local offerings are an easier ask and pair well with supper clubs
-Social clubs can be launched near major city centers where supper clubs have proven interest
-Cabin’s community in Austin and the proximity of Austin to N0 provide a great pilot
-Success of this approach would give us a repeatable model for profitable growth of the network
2. Team
- Sponsor: Jon Hillis - Cabin Co-founder, Caretaker @ Neighborhood Zero
- Steward: Charlie Frise - Builders Guild Custodian, Frise Design + Build
- Members: Contributor bounties as needed
3. Goals
- Objective: what is the overall objective you are trying to accomplish?
- Onboard new citizens to the network
- Done by requiring members to purchase citizenship before the end of their first month in order to continue subscription (gives them time to buy citizenship and make a friend with someone who can vouch for them)
- Done by documenting the growth of the social club via YouTube and X, similar to the Builder In residence series previously completed by Charlie
- Create a playbook for the cabin network to launch more clubhouses
- Done by documenting what worked and what didn’t, creating marketing templates, SOPs, and construction plans for rapid property expansion
- Key Results: What are the specific, measurable outcomes of this proposal?
-
Number of new Citizens as a direct result of Charlie’s efforts (Goal: 64 by end of year 1). “Direct” meaning they’re either a:
- Non-austin-local onboarded through marketing efforts
- Austin-local onboarded through Clubhouse
-
Number of Clubhouse paying monthly members (Goal: 64 by end of year 1)
-
Path to achieving goals ($300/mo Clubhouse subscription, $315 Citizenship Activation Fee):

4. Proposed Budget
For a 1 year contract, the following budget is requested:
Below is a breakdown of the intended use of funds, which includes a contributor salary for Charlie at the same USD amount he was receiving through the First Fellowship, a budget for contractors as needed, and ₡ABIN for incentivizing citizen referrals and completing quests as needed.
- In addition to the USD rate Charlie was getting paid in the First Fellowship, he is requesting 300 ₡ABIN per month.
